The Mission

Established in 2015, the O'Toole Foundation is designed to fill needs in the community, wherever that community may be. It seeks to do so by developing and funding projects its Founder believes will "contribute to the rebuilding, restoration and betterment of the lives of the individuals and communities touched by [its] efforts."

In its inaugural year, the Foundation set goals for three major undertakings, and an additional outreach project during the Christmas season.

Building A Better Future

The McInerney Home

A personal project of the Foundation's namesake, this under-construction home, located in Alexandria, Virginia, is the Foundation's first purchase. The project restores the childhood home of a close friend which once stood on the same plot of land. The work is managed and executed locally by Capitol Area Construction, also located in Alexandria, Virginia.

Projected Completion: Spring 2016.

Xavier Learning Lab

Committed to fostering and fueling a love for STEM education, the Xavier Learning Lab, located on the campus of the University of Colorado-Denver, is a hands-on, state of the art lab facility where Middle and High School students can learn, build and experiment, under the mentorship of students from the School of Engineering and Applied Science.

The Foundation is proud to partner with the School of Engineering and Applied Science to make this dream a reality.

Operation: Norman

Christmas can be a particularly difficult time of year for area foster children. In an effort to make the season a little brighter, the O’Toole Foundation sponsored Operation: Norman, a stocking drive that collected over 1,500 new, personalized stockings for Denver-area foster children. The Foundation plans to expand upon the success of this year's program in the future.
